if moonshine came in airplane-size bottles, this AWD go-kart would be our choice to run in the backwoods to avoid Johnny Law.
:ya:

they used pretty much the same engine setup I did. I can only imagine how fast that thing is considering the weight difference between my WRX and the Justy.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

I swear I saw a Monster Miata this week. It was just toooooo rumbly. I was at work, so I couldn't chase the guy down.

I would want to swap for rotary anyway. Shoe-horning a V8 into there sounds like waaaaaaaaay too much of a hassle. I'm sure you'll revoke my Miata license for that one :)

you can buy the motor mounts and then there's just some minor work on the firewall. I'm just not a rotary fan anymore. too much maintenance for too little power, and aluminum block engines aren't that much heavier. there's a reason only Mazda is producing them and even now the RX8 can't compete.

my latest fever-dream-inspired swap would be to drop a supercharged Miata I4 into a Fiat Dino Spider.

I heard Mazda is axe-ing them very soon. It would be a shame, but I fully understand. An acquaintance just had his lemon'd. The motor stopped working. The dealer has no idea why.

I'm not happy the rotary is dead, but it is. they burn too much gas and too much oil for too little output.
