if moonshine came in airplane-size bottles, this AWD go-kart would be our choice to run in the backwoods to avoid Johnny Law.
they used pretty much the same engine setup I did. I can only imagine how fast that thing is considering the weight difference between my WRX and the Justy.

Re: Justy-fied
I swear I saw a Monster Miata this week. It was just toooooo rumbly. I was at work, so I couldn't chase the guy down.
I would want to swap for rotary anyway. Shoe-horning a V8 into there sounds like waaaaaaaaay too much of a hassle. I'm sure you'll revoke my Miata license for that one

Re: Justy-fied
you can buy the motor mounts and then there's just some minor work on the firewall. I'm just not a rotary fan anymore. too much maintenance for too little power, and aluminum block engines aren't that much heavier. there's a reason only Mazda is producing them and even now the RX8 can't compete.snaab wrote:I would want to swap for rotary anyway. my latest fever-dream-inspired swap would be to drop a supercharged Miata I4 into a Fiat Dino Spider.

Re: Justy-fied
I heard Mazda is axe-ing them very soon. It would be a shame, but I fully understand. An acquaintance just had his lemon'd. The motor stopped working. The dealer has no idea why.Mr Kleen wrote:snaab wrote:even now the RX8 can't compete.

Re: Justy-fied
I'm not happy the rotary is dead, but it is. they burn too much gas and too much oil for too little output.
