***SOLD*** FS: 3" Catback for WRX

Post by Cereb Daithi »

Well as you have probably already seen on the Intake and Exhaust forum that install didnt go as planned.... no good on the catback. the flange for a 2005 2.5 liter non-turbo'd engine is smaller than a 2002 turbo'd 2.0 liter.... im not entirely sure if this'll fit a 04-05 WRX or not as the bend is was also different on my 05 RS. kept hitting the heat shield.

It is a Pro 1 high performance catback. this thing sounds monsterous....watch this vid and have a listen.

here are some quick pics. ill have more detailed pics up later

kk since i guess noone is interested im gona throw it online elsewhere. i have no idea what i should be asking for this though.

there are a few dings in it, one shoddy weld job on the b-pipe (its solid, just looks "meh" ), and its scraped.... no rust

any suggestions what i should be asking for this?

i just recieved an offer for 250. Since you are DCAWD you have the right to outbid i responded back sort of putting him on hold for the moment until you have time to consider.

It coudl work out perhaps where I could drive down to DC to drop this off as well as pick up the springs from will. Kill 2 birds with one stone

some more detailed pics. Like i said it's a bit scraped up but that will polish out... and there is an ugly weld, but it is still quite solid and cannot be seen while the exhaust is on the car

I'd much rather sell this to a DCAWD member as I've had good dealings with members before and I'd much rather see it go to someone I can continue talking to

not that i can see. I havent done any serious testing on it but as far as i know the exhaust is solid. that small abcess is just from excess slag. my mechanic buddy took a look at it and wasnt concerned about it.
