the hardware is nice and solid. Physical keyboard would take some getting used to. 2.0 is a serious performer. The screen resolution is a full generation better than the iPhone. Not sure about battery life yet, but performance is fantastic. Opens, switches between apps and screens as fast as the 3GS. Copy + paste works everywhere but isn't as slick as the iPhone OS implementation. Overall I'm quite impressed. I might just end up on a family plan with her, it's that good.

EDIT:Media playback and control has a ways to go. iPhone wins that one hands down. Almost everything else, it's an honest to FSM toss-up.
