meh, there is no mention of total weight there or of the power its making. When you are making 800+ hp and weigh in the 1500-2000lb range, THEN I'll get all excited ;) weight distro be damned, if you have wide enough tires it does not matter 8)

haha, nice project though, i bet it goes too!

isn't the 2JZ a Toyota engine? I also couldn't find numbers but I just did a quick scan.

Yes, it is the quintessential Toyota engine and one of the best flowing/strongest engines in the world

2JZ-GTE Twin turbo, iron block, capable of 800-900whp on the stock block

They are buildng another s2000 and shooting for 1200whp
Seems a bit far into the arena of ridiculous but hey.....can't have enough POWAAA

I have a million questions I want to ask those guys!!!

Aside:
I disagree with bigger tires will counter weight distribution. If 70% of your weight is forward in anything other than a drag car (FWD drag cars weight over front tires) you are *going* to have massive understeer.

Good lord, if that S2k had 800RWHP, I can't imagine what a pita it would be to drive... Would be fun in a straight line though!

i would assume less then 300 whp in its current trim 9 psi is less than stock, and no way in hell a s14 rear end is going to hold that kind of power...

I wonder if they are really using the s14 rear end or the common swap for the s14: infiniti j30 lsd (3.96). The stock s14 rear is an open diff. However, there are a very few 240s with a stock lsd (4.10).

If my assumption is correct, the j30 rear end or even the 300zx TT rear end are both quite capable of handling a lot of power...

I'd be more impressed if they were making that power on a s2k motor.

Take that motor and put it in falafel and you'd have the world fastest falafel.
Have turbo, will spool.
