I am telling you that we just have to have a vinyl group buy and group install.complacent wrote:This is not making it any easier for me to not paint my car...

I HATE to say this.... but I agree. Some cars just look better without the blacked out treatment... but that is very few and far between... this just happens to be one of those.ElZorro wrote:Doesn't do it for me on the GTR.
I couldn't disagree more if you were Glenn Beck.Sabre wrote:I HATE to say this.... but I agree. Some cars just look better without the blacked out treatment... but that is very few and far between... this just happens to be one of those.ElZorro wrote:Doesn't do it for me on the GTR.

the GTR isn't a good looking car, it's a purposeful looking car. Flat black just reinforces that for me.
I wish I had more hands so I could give this wrap 4 thumbs up.
It will still feel like vinyl to touch. Its like printing different finishes on the same photo paper. So I don't think it would take to grit much more than any other form of vinyl.scheherazade wrote:I thought about matte white (matt white, LOL - ok I enjoyed that...).
But gloss white is hard enough to keep looking clean.
Then take out some of the smoothness, and I've got the feeling more grit will take.

Yup. Reason its popular with the GT-R owners isMr Kleen wrote:Did a little research, found a good company with lots of example work online. The closest install center is in NYC. The cost for a single color wrap for an Impreza is $3600They'll come to DC and do it for an additional $750.
