TMIC + gold relfective heat barrier
after seeing the effects of heat soak at the AR Fab dyno day, I decided to do a little something about it. I wanted to keep my TMIC for several reasons so I decided to wrap it with Self Adhesive GOLD Reflective Heat Barrier Film.
I ordered 2' and used most of it. I think I have enough left to wrap the outside of the heat shield on my K&N Typhoon intake. is it the best $60 I ever spent? probably not. is it the worst $60 I ever spent? not by a long shot.

I stumbled across this thread over at Nasioc and made me think of Gabe's golden top mount.
I replaced the stock radiator last Friday, due to a leaking end tank, with a Koyo unit. Since it is all aluminum, it gets super hot. After seeing that thread, I'm going to put some header wrap and reflective tape under the air scoop on top of the radiator. Like this, but without the air box.
