BMW X6 SAC

Post by Libra Monkee »

This thing has some niceties to it. It's got a twin-turbo V8 that produces 300-400bhp depending on the model you get. Four doors and a coupe-style hatch so you can fit people and things into it. One thing that bothers be though; they call it a coupe... aren't coupes typically 2-doors?

It starts at $52,500 which means I won't be getting one in the foreseeable future. But for some reason I can't explain, I like it.

I don't care what Mercedes told you: a coupe has 2 doors, period.

Reminds me a little of the Outback Sedan.

WHY?

That being said, the V8-TT is a torque monster, and it compares favorably to the M3's V8 and the M5's V10. Plus that Dynamic Performance Control makes it sound like future Bimmers will make use of AWD for performance as well as slippery pavement.

Twin-turbos? Performance-enhancing AWD? Me likey some Audi... err... I mean BMW? :poke:

It reminds me of the differences between the original TT and the new beetle - One looked more stepped on than the other, neither were really my style.
