2005 STI Sleeper = Not Selling Now, It's coming to Quebec!

Post by spcmky »

2005 Subaru WRX STi, ~50,000 Miles (Pictures below)

$22,000 OBO

I'm moving and so this baby needs a new home. It cannot follow me to Quebec. :( You may email me spckmy@gmail.com or call my cell 202-253-1343.

This car drives great and pulls hard in any gear. It's been very well taken care of and I would hope the buyer would continue that trend.

Go Fast Stuff-

Subaru All-Wheel Drive System with on the fly front-to rear in-cockpit power distribution adjustment

350 horsepower, 385ft-lbs torque (flywheel) 2.5 Liter Turbo Charged (17.5 psi) flat-4 engine (Dyno sheet below)

COBB Gen 1 Access Port with 93 or 91 octane fuel mapping
COBB Hi-Flow Catalytic Converter Stainless Steel Turbo Back Exhaust
Zero Sports Hood Scoop Air Splitter w/ custom Intercooler water spray (tank in trunk)
Carbotech Bobcat brake pads (about half used) in Brembo Monoblock Calipers

17x8 BBS lightweight racing wheels

Lug Locks
Less than 10k miles on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 225/45/R17 Z-rated tires (great winter tire)

Look Good Stuff-

Subaru Crystal-Grey Metallic paint waxed professionally 2x per year

WRX low-wing trunk swap (no big wing like regular STi)
Excellent tint job (VA legal 50front seat/35back seat/20 rear- done at a shop that has won the East Coast Tint Championship 3 times) www.rpmsuperstore.com
Gauge Cluster Pod w/ ProSport Turbo Boost& Oil Pressure gauges installed
Subaru single DIN enclosure pod (sits below alpine stereo) for CD storage

Grey quarter panel parts manufacturer stickers

Pink (known in Japan as “Cherry-blossom red”) STi stickers on body replaced with identical ones in steel gray (very subtle look)

Carbon Fiber hood struts.
Black Grillcraft grills for upper and lower front bumper. (installed after pics)

Sound Good Stuff-

Alpine CDA-9835 head unit with 50+ watts per channel http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ENxjFEp...x?i=500CDA9835
Alpine XM-Radio tuner box
Alpine Ipod Integration box
Alpine MRD-M500 Sub Amp http://www.crutchfield.com/S-kleIdtK...search=MRDM500
Alpine MRV-F540 4ch speaker amp http://www.crutchfield.com/S-kleIdtK...x?I=500MRVF540
Eclipse 5 1/4" component front channel (forget the model number but I paid almost a grand for the set)

Boston Acoustic 4” Coaxial rear speakers
Alpine Type-R 12" sub in alpine aluminum and black carpet ported enclosure

95db low-frequency exhaust sound at full throttle – (Quiet, but not too quiet)

Whats the status of the sale? I love the color but desire the big ugly wing! Looking to ditch the DSM soon for something newer, have nice loan preapproval at hand and a nicer 22b header :-). Fell off the truck. Clutch been replaced?

AFAIK it's still for sale, he drove it up to Canada on Saturday though and should be back this week. Man you don't want that shopping cart handle come on, wrx wing shows good taste!

It's still for sale. I didn't drive it to Canada. So the miles are still the same. It's at a friends house in Nova so if you want to look at it I might be able to arrange. Otherwise you'll have to wait until I get back from Canada this coming weekend. Clutch has not been replaced. Clutch is fine to me though but your more than welcome to get it checked out.

Stop being a pansy! I've personally driven this car and it pulls like a BEAST and is mechanically sound.

This car is too nice to pass up. Very clean. And Phibs isn't joking about it pulling hard. I'm sure with a real tune it will be even better. It had a 2000 mile break in period and has mostly seen highways.
