Microsoft officially announces $280 Xbox 360, launching today
no HD included with this one but it does come with a memory card, 1 wireless controller and the full versions of the arcade games Boom-Boom Rocket, Pac-man Championship Edition, Uno, Feeding Frenzy, and Luxor 2.
personally I would (did) spend the extra $80 and get the HD so you can download demos and videos from XBL. but if you aren't interested in XBL (one of the major draws of the 360 IMHO) then the price point is OK.
