Why'd you put the clock in the USB-hub area? Huh? Huh?

It is also for RHD, so it won't work or look good. There was a guy that had one custom fab'd for LHD but it was costly.

I will point out *cough* STi or STI owners *cough* that the pod doesn't really stick up any further than your bird sucking hoodscoop...

(but it is turned the wrong way)

I was just pointing out that "too tall" is a bit of a moot point, relative to the hood scoop. If you don't like it, cool. Personally, "stealthy" and "hood scoop" don't really fit in the same category. Just making observations.

really? i've always loved the scoop. makes subies stand out even more than they already do (08 impreza doesn't count). the 04-05 sti scoop is a bit obnoxious, but i still dig it.

even with a fmic, i still like it.

yep, still like it!

but it's factory. i read somewhere that the 04-05 sti scoop is technically too tall for va state law, but again...*factory*, so there really isn't much they can do.

right?

I ordered the zerosport pod that looks like that one from Mach V. I am hoping it will be here in the next day or so.

Ross - Dave's thinking of putting in a car-puter. My guess is he's going to use the ashtray area to install a USB panel. I've gotta admit, I've had the same idea (if I had the money to build a car-puter - which I don't at the moment).

the guy that failed the STi on inspection wasn't measuring the scoop correctly. you don't just measure the height off the hood at the front of the scoop, you have to measure from the base of the windshield to the top of the hood scoop. that takes into account the slope of the hood.

Yes, the wing garnishes a little more attention, but asshat driving and a loud exhaust are what will get you pulled over.
