DCAWD Meet - Monday 09/10/07 - D&B's

Hello all,
The next meeting of DC All Wheel Drive will be on Monday, 09/10/07 at 7:15. This is a regular meet, so we will be meeting for a little while, then going inside to enjoy the fun! If any one has not been to D&B's, think of it as an adult arcade. Lot's of fun things to do. Since it's D&B's, after 10pm you will need to be 21 to stay inside unless you have someone over 25 "watch" you. While we are there, please stay out of the right of ways. No standing in the road and such, just stay in between or in front of the cars. If hoods open, only leave them open long enough to do you business. Past that, anyone with a love of cars is more than welcome to attend!

When you get to the mall, just follow the direction on the signs to Dave and Busters. When you come to the top of the parking lot, make a left and head to the corner, we will be there Smile If you don't see us, keep looking... I'm usually there by 6:45 or so.

Note: This is an AWD, we meet no matter what Mother Nature throws at us! We are not restricted in anyway to AWD, we welcome anyone with a love of cars!

With a sly little edit, I have re-categorized my attendance.
I have an ass early flight the next morning to go to TX, and I have a sneaking suspicion that the work will not have been finished by then.

Where in Alexandria are you? There are a few of us scattered around Alexandria, Arlington and Old Town. There could very well be a caravan to the meet if you'd be interested...

Yeah, where in Alex? I have noticed a couple of STis and a WRX in the parking garage at my office (for fear of civil litigation, I cannot reveal the location publicly...). Looks like we are slowly building numbers. Mebeh we can have our own little Alexandria lunch meet-ups like those VIP Tyson people have.

I'm traveling 'till like October, so it might be a while 'till I meet you.

try an make it to the meet, good people, good food and drink, and GAMES!

Expect? Expect a bunch of car nerds standing around talking about horsepower and camshafts. Expect at least one person to pop their hood to show everyone what an engine looks like. Expect at least three people to make a joke about a "Civic with a fart cannon". Then expect to see the greatest thing to happen to this club since its inception. Me.

I don't normally make the D&B meets but if there's an Alexandria caravan I'll make an exception.
