To Delta or not to Delta...

Well, I have been pretty pro-COBB/Enginuity when it comes to tuning but those both are lacking. They both haven't come out w/ anything yet for the '07 foresters so it is looking more like ~2 yrs before they get something for my '08.

Here is my dilemma: I can get a UTEC DELTA(ver. 3) for $600 shipped (1100 MSRP) where the cheapest I can find before that is almost $800 shipped.

Should I or shouldn't I? Should I just hold out and have hopes that my old faithfuls will actually put something out sooner?

So, the 07 Forester uses the CANbus communication protocols? That sucks. Supposedly ECUTEK has been able to crack the 07 ECU, at least it worked for SubieSports Project 07 LGT and it's SI-Drive.

If you can find an ECUTEK tuner locally you could talk to them and see if they know anything about it. I know Big Al (DynoFlash) uses ECUTEK, you could always approach him about it as well.

If the UTEC isn't exactly what you want, don't get it. I had three forms of EM on my WRX, and I should have just waited for the ECUTEK tune that I eventually got.

Yeah, never liked UTEC. I picked one up for $800 (normally $1100) for my '04 but turned around the next week and sold it for $600. I have decided just to wait and get something that I will be completely happy with. Thanks guys!
