osx + zfs

while i haven't had the opportunity to play with zfs yet, i've been meaning to.
anyway, this is hella pimp if they keep it to spec.

btw, has anyone here tried running a sun box w/ zfs fs on a san?

Nope, haven't had a chance to play with it, although I've kept it in the back of my head for one of those rainy afternoons

Reminds me a little of

In other news, I read about sshfs for OSX today:

turns out it runs in userland. This is pretty useful stuff. Kind of interesting how these postmodern filesystems are evolving (such as the gmailfs of a couple years ago).
