I'd rock it as long as the size isn't TOO big... Looks good size, I might still rock it even if it is large, haha.

i heard that the phone will work with verizon and tmobile as well--standard sim card stuff and supposedly it won't be locked into cingular. should be interesting to see if that is true, etc...

anyway, i'm getting one before colin.
T-Mobile and Cingular both use the GSM standard (which uses SIM cards) so typically you can crack phones from either carrier to work on the other.
Verizon uses the CDMA standard which does not use SIM cards. Phones from Verizon are incompatible with Cingular/T-Mobile and vice-versa.
cingular is the stank-nastiness. almost as bad as sprint.
I don't know about you you but I've never had a problem with Cingular. Don't get me wrong I'm not defending them. Just saying I've never had a problem with their rates, service, or anything.

my first cell was a Cingular. I thought they sucked until I got a Nextel. now I realize ALL cellular companies suck, you just have to find your brand of suck.

I was wondering why they were throwing the "iPhone" name around so freely.

This is true. The main reason I went with Cingular over anyone else is because they had they rollover thing with the minutes. Beyond that, one's just as good as the other.

...
Cisco said Tuesday that it had been negotiating for several years with Apple over a licensing agreement but that lawyers for Apple had not returned the final contract.
