Julian, how tall is that 5805? It looks twice as tall as the 2805, at least...

That's correct. Basically, if you look inside the 1803 (my old receiver), it was about half full of parts. If you look in my 4806, it's packed to the gills with parts... for the 5805, they needed to expand the chassis just to fit everything in there and also leave enough room for the massive heatsinks that are required since it has 10 built-in 170-watt amplifiers. The 5805 is just a ridiculous piece of equipment...
