Music software

Post by Cereb Daithi »

Well I have a question. Most of you guys are pretty tech savvy so perhaps you can help.

I have recently been doing some internet "radio broadcasts" for some friends on a chat server on Ventrilo. It is crude and at a fairly low bitrate... however I am starting to really enjoy doing this and want an upgrade.

I'm currently on a PowerMac G5 and need a streaming audio program to play music. I've heard I can do something like this from quicktime... anyone know exactly what to do or have any suggestions for other programs that people can tune into from their computers.

Also I am in need of a DJ program. I need to do some song mixing and DJing for these broadcasts... any programs for mac anyone recommends?

i dabbled in shoutcast many moons ago when i was broke, bored, and thought it would be a neat idea. i played games too much to keep it going for long, though.

that's all i got.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
