I went to Target yesterday, and like a true man I didn't bother to pick up a basket or push a car. So, where does that leave me? Standing in front of the Wii, drooling, holding a half ton of merchandise.

I'll have one by the end of the winter, or at least in time for the Lucas Arts light saber game. 8)

I like the summation at the end:
/. Review wrote:Even with a fairly humble collection of launch titles, Nintendo has managed to get gamers and non-gamers alike to drink the kool-aid. The system delivers exactly what the company promised when the 'Revolution' was announced in 2004.
FunnAh!

i think it's colin you'll have to worry about. he has stood in line 3 (or so) mornings at best buy anxiously hoping to get his hands on a big, sweaty, throbbing wii. so far he's come home wiiless  .

I got a call from a friend I used to work with the other day. his brother works at the Target in Potomac Yards, they were getting in a shipment of 60 Wii's over the weekend, but I didn't have the cash on hand. if anybody is looking I'll post any updates I get on their stock.

I've next to given up on looking for this thing. I'm tired of called stores, asking if they have any Wii's I can take home and play with, and getting hung up on. (Probably because of the heavy breathing.) So I'll just wait until the smoke clears a bit unless, of course, I just happen across one.

if I get any more updates, I'll post them up. with shipments of 60 at a time coming in to just the one Target, they shouldn't be too difficult to find one eventually.
