For Mom and Pa
heh heh..
no really...
I'm looking for a laptop for my parents for Christmas. However, I can't justify going to buy a brand new Dell or similar product. You simply do not need that powerful of a laptop to be able to do emails and upload the occasional picture from the digital camera. I also don't want to spend more than $300-400...(not to mention i just bought a Dell XPS powerhouse for my own computational endeavors)
Any ideas or recommendations?

There is a pretty good place in Sterling right down the road from where I work. We get a lot of things from there for work. Pretty good prices and very good customer service.cheshirecat wrote:heh heh..

Check out www.ecost.com as well. There are always some good deals there if you know what you are looking for!

I usually build my family computers from the spare parts after my upgrades.
