TV repair in Alexandria?

Post by Mr Kleen »

I'm in need of a TV repairman to take a look at my Mitsubishi rear projection HDTV.

anybody know a trustworthy shop that does house calls? I sure don't want to have to lug the damn thing down to a shop. I don't even have a vehicle that can haul it. :?

Is it still under warrenty? If so, give'em a call :) I'm sure you have done this if it was though. What's wrong with it?

if it was still covered by the warante there wouldn't be much need for this thread, no? :buttkick:

the TV is about 5 years old now. it's an intermittent problem, just the kind to give you fits and make it impossible to get an estimate on demand.

I think I'm going to call Hi Tech Repairs of Sterling. they do house calls in Alexandria.

I thought there was a shop that did Mitsu sales exclusively... The Big Screen Store? Something like that. Anywho, they should have a recommendation on who to use for out-of-warranty work.

the repair man is coming by Wednesday morning. the house call is only $20 but after describing the problem he said he knew what was probably causing it. it's one of two parts, between $150 and $300 to repair. hopefully it will last another 5 years...
