So I just nabbed the latest vid outa forza...once again pre-rendered and overly styleistic..but it looks like they might be venturing into some new realms in terms of your average car-customization....obviously you can drop in bigger engines, bigger turbos, bigger breaks... etc.. and as usual you can tune your gear ratios, suspension, steering...etc..
however they showed something that has my hopes up...
it looks like they have a sort of wind-tunnel feature... in which you test new body mods for aerodynamics and downforce....now granted this is sort of useless in-game becuase i cant see forza putting "crappy aerodynamically inefficent" mods in... but still an interesting feature....

I love the racing line on Frorza on the real world tracks. I wish they did more with it as a teaching tool and not just a crutch, but I do love the feature.
if the buzz about Gran Turismo going to a pricing model where you have to buy cars and tracks using micro-transactions (AFTER buying the "full" game for $60) is true, Forza will be my new favorite racing game. I hope it lives up to my expectations.

yeah the racing line in forza was definetly great... but i found it hard to turn off in the beginning simply because it really does help you out.. finally after a while i could turn it off and start earning more points. my only hope is that it hasnt fallen prey to pop culture.... the thing that scared me was the car in the vid was a 350z COVERED in stickers with a giant erector set wing...
