meh. I'd live with it for 330 HP, but that's probably the STi numbers.

wow hatchback... I dunno about this... I use to have a hatch... I prefer the sedan! A coupe could be cool.

A couple of things that I noticed... Exhaust is on the right instead of the left (that would infuriate the after market scene, that is for sure). The badge on the front looks more the size for a VW than a Subaru (maybe this is a crossover like the Sabaru... haha VDubaru?). The tail lights are interesting. Not sure how I feel about them. The hood scoop is definitely larger too.

Not sure what to think about it honestly. Only time will tell!

Hm, so could it be argued that Mazda has style and handling nailed while Subaru has good AWD and power?

Mazda didn't invent the 5 door hatch. it looks like a lot of 5 door hatchbacks produced in the past few years.

I said that, to everybody.

I was referring to the 3rd gen. Protege line. The MP3 came out in '01, the WRX came out in '02, similar sedan style and wing. The P5 came out in '02 and was similar to the WRX wagon, but no power or AWD :( while the MSP had some power and even better handling than the MP3.

and actually ive done some more thinking... theres no way it would be a WRX with 330. subaru wouldnt kill their own flagship. the 330HP could believably be the STi though

Let's do some logic on this:

1) New WRX would not have 330hp unless STi had 400hp which I don't think will happen...but would be sweet.

2) They could only be releasing the STi and doing away w/ the standard WRX...don't think that would happen b/c of price but if the new STi cost the same as the standard WRX costs now, that would be sweet but wouldn't happen.

3) Each new model should either stay the same or slightly increase which is what this would show w/ 330hp.

4) I don't know but only having three up seemed silly.

Actually, I would say it looks like an Audi from the front (without the continuous grill).

yay for too door

still if it turns out looking like that.. the fact that its a 2-door might just not be enough to save it in my eyes.

at least the photos sorta keep me ever so slightly optimistic
