Cross-post from NASIOC (posted by cowapult):
Hey all,
The DC Region SCCA is hosting a rallycross SCHOOL on March 27th. If you've been thinking about trying rallycross, then this is a perfect chance to get into it at your own speed.
Info:
http://www.dcrally.com
This school will cover car preparation, RallyCross operations and safety, competition driving theory, and rally driving techniques. The school is designed for beginners, but experienced drivers looking for more speed will probably find it here as well.
The school will consist of a morning classroom session and student ride-alongs, followed by afternoon driving exercises, and closing with full-speed runs of the full course by the students.
Registration is $60. Class size is limited to 20 drivers. Registration here:

BYOC - Bring Your Own Car. Almost any street car will do fine, as long as it's not a convertible, and not a SUV or other high-center of gravity vehicle. Official rules are on the website.
** TEST AND TUNE
While students of the RallyCross school are in the morning classroom session, the course will be open for a Test and Tune session. All drivers must have some demonstrable competition driving experience. The organisers may contact entrants to verify their experience level. All drivers should get at least 5 runs of the course. Note that you can not register for both the Test and Tune and the School.
Registration is $20. Entry is limited to 20 drivers
