If you were wondering...
How do I grease my front sway bar?
Prothane Supergrease. Drop the front splash shield. Loosen the bolts of the subframes but don't remove them. It should drop by 3/4". Then loosen or remove the mounts and bushing and lube the bushings. This is on a aftermarket bar with split bushings. If you have a stock bar then you will have to remove the subframes and remove the endlinks. Because the bushings aren't split and the entire bar has to come out. On a stock bar you probably can use lithium grease. They really aren't supposed to require greasing.

Sweet...didn't know about the tape. Might have to do that. Any type of teflon or something in particular?

I am a handy dandy man...pretty much build a whole house from the ground up w/ my bare hands (don't mess w/ gas lines...leave that for some other professional)...that being said I have that tape at home for plumbing jobs

Well, I lucked out and the stupid noise coming from my front suspension was only from the pitch stop. Just needed to be tightened more...no more mind-numbing creaking!
Oh, and since my STi TMIC was out (b/c the pitch stop is right underneath), I decided to throw this in:
(note the temporary breather pipes and custom mounting bracket...you can see in the third pic that I had to remove the splitter...will have to make a custom one now)

Looking good Will! Did you replace the Y hose with a silicon one?

Thank you, sir. It is a cast Y pipe w/ a blue silicon elbow hose that I had to trim to fit the VF39. I will be designing a custom splitter w/ CAD this week to work w/ the new TMIC.sabre wrote:Looking good Will! Did you replace the Y hose with a silicon one?
