MIR Track Meet Sunday, March 6, 2005

Post by Green_Hornet »

Sunday March 6, 2005 is opening day at Maryland International Raceway(Budds Creek) and there will be a Maxima Track meet taking place. I'm rolling with a few other GVR4s to the track since I have some things to settle with a few maximas I know that are quick.

I posted it on Galantvr4.org and a DSMer got a hold of it and posted it on DSMTuners.com so now they are involved. Links to the threads are below:

MIR Meet - Mar 05

Post by JD »

Hi JD here ('05 STI) - Recently found the DCAWD club!

MIR is in my backyard, down here in the boonies! Would be great to meet other AWD enthusiasts!

Interesting this meet is a Maxima meet... my wife drives a '96 Maxima... can you say "Family Feud"?

JD
When in doubt, gas it!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

I was using google looking for some tech info for STIs and ran across an obscure reference to a tech article here (DCAWD) and decided to follow the trail. Thought it was great there was a club relatively close. Hope you don't mind me barging in. Major Petter Solberg fan - follow WRC fairly closely... wish I had planned to got to Rally Mexico this year - but maybe next. Almost have the wife convinced!

Take care!

Hey JD,
Not at all, that's why we're here! We've always been open to any one joining the group. Welcome and good luck convincing the wife ;)

JD, there was someone else talking about going to a Rally, not sure if it's public knowledge, he'll speak up if it is. :)
