WRC Season get together

Post by Mozfan »

I was wondering if there would be any interest in getting together on an informal basis for next years WRC schedule. We could either look for a bar that might let us watch, or if it came down to it, I could host it at my place. We could just chill, get some food and drinks, and get our rally on :D

I's be down for that :) We're already hosting a GT4 party... might as well host a really rally party as well. I should have my basement finished soon too, hehe. It's not huge, but it should be good for a rally!

Hey, sounds fun. I can plan it with my housemate(owner of the place) and do it in Elexandria w/ Tivo. Maybe you guys can see me in April if I make it down to New Zealand!

Well, it sounds as if there is enough interest. I'll check the schedule for next season and then maybe come January we can plan the logistics of the first meet.

I would, but I have someone coming in from out of town this weekend.

I'll offer to hold the first meet for 2005 though. I am guessing it will be played on Speed on Sunday the 23rd from 9:30 to 11:00pm. I am thinking Pizza, Drinks, Big Screen TV.

I'll re-announce closer to the race.

Bleh, most of my Wednesday nights are booked already, I'll have to see how much of a possibility this is for me.

Damned skippy... I'll still host it for the throngs of people that are interested.

I was thinking of getting some beverages that require proof of age picture ID and getting some chinese or pizza delivered.

How many people are interested in comming now?

7:30 - you get tired of my hospitality.

Woot Woot, all three of us! What a turnout. For those that are waiting till the last minute to see what the guest list looks like, I'll give address, directions are up to you. I am partial to RAND MCNALLY.
1003 North Terrill Street, Alexandria, Va 22304.

This is on a dead end street. Parking directly infront of the houses will get you towed. There is parking on the island on the street between the houses or on Rickenbacher.

I *really* wanted to come, but since I'm going to the meet tomorrow night, my parents wanted to do dinner tonight :(
