Empathy vs Systematic

Post by ElZorro »

Interesting research, breaking down brains based on two main traits.

The statements basically saying that scientists and engineers are partially autistic made me laugh. (Funny because its true, good to see that its not just anecdotal)

The idea that autism is "extreme male brain" is interesting too.

^^^^ Funny because it is true. I know so many people that are exactly like this.

Another good quote:
ASD is characterized by deficits in social development, delays or lack of development in communication, and unusually repetitive behaviors and narrow interests
Yep, sounds like a lot of the smart people I work with!

There are also a lot of people I would consider to have mild Asperger's.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
