FS: Stock WRX turbo
Stock wrx turbo approx 50,000 miles in excellent condition. Might be something good to have around if yours dies or you want to trade your car in and not loose the bigger turbo thats on it now. I was going to keep it but I desperately need money for the Cobb Accessport ASAP. Make me an offer, please be reasonable. Located in Northern Va.

Good luck with the selling of the turbo! Just reading your post, it almost sounds like you swapped the turbo without EM? Say it isn't so...

Well actually the PLX r500 quit working after 2 runs, and the SAFC caused the car the randomly run as lean as 17:1. Original pulls done in 3rd gear with a vf34 on stock injectors @ factory wastegate only. Ran roughly 10:1-12:1 until 6500 then began to lean out to around 14:0. Then SAFC caused the car's ecu to have mega brain farts about 1 hour after install, leaning out at random for no reason....DO NOT USE THE SAFC ON A SUBARU. Now car is parked until I can disconect SAFC from ecu.

Ouch, sorry to hear about the problems! With your level of experience, I'm suprised that you are not going with a UTEC instead of the Cobb.

Actually I'm debating just getting a reflash due to this this being a soon-to-be-daily-driver. I'm hoping to net enough dough from spare parts and leftovers from the dsm days to get either an ecu reflash or the accessport. I also have an SAFC, HKS SAFR, stock ej20t manifold, stock heatsheild, and AEM CAI for sale as of tonight. Soon i'll have stock wrx injectors, and a stock fuel pump for sale as well.

Nuttin wrong w/ an AP...talked to Jarrad at PDX yesterday...he is working on a custom map for my mods and is going to send it to me via email.Sabre wrote:Ouch, sorry to hear about the problems! With your level of experience, I'm suprised that you are not going with a UTEC instead of the Cobb.
Yeah, I know that a protune is best but:
1) I am never here on weekends when all the lucky blokes get theirs done by flying some great tuner in
2) $150 is a lot cheaper than $400-$500 dollars
3) I trust Jarrad b/c he is one of the better tuners in the nation.
