The first official photos of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG have leaked online ahead of its debut at the New York Auto Show next week. The CLA 45 AMG is basically a four-door coupe version of the A45 AMG hatchback that we will not receive here in the US.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG will be powered by the same turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine as the A45 AMG, which means it will pack 360 horsepower and 332 lb-ft. of torque. The A45 AMG reaches 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds, so you can expect the CLA 45 AMG to be somewhere around that time as well.

Its basically a baby CLS; a good thing. My head hits the A-pillar of a CLS....I shudder to think what ingress/egress is for the CLA for those of us over 6ft.

The wait is over! Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the hot version of the 2014 CLA, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG. Looking like a scaled down CLS63 AMG, the smaller CLA45 AMG follows in its big brothers footsteps and is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 355 horsepower and 332 lb-ft. of torque. With that much power on tap, the CLA45 AMG's engine is the most powerful turbocharged four-cylinder production engine.
The turbocharged 2.0L engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. The CLA45 AMG four-door coupe will reach 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph.
The 2014 CLA45 AMG will arrive in November starting at $47,450.
