The pricing for the revised 2013 Nissan 370Z Coupe, 370Z Roadster and NISMO 370Z has been announced and all three versions are now on sale. The 2013 Nissan 370Z starts $33,120, while the roadster starts at $41,470 and the NISMO 370Z starts at $43,020.
For the 2013 model year the Nissan 370Z gets a refreshed front fascia with vertical LED daytime running lights (except NISMO 370Z), a new 18-inch wheel design for 370Z Coupe and two new colors - Magma Red and Midnight Blue. Sport Package-equipped models get a new 19-inch wheel design, red-color brake calipers and Euro-tuned shock absorbers. The NISMO 370Z receives dark-finish 19-inch wheels, revised brake system components and an available Bose Premium Audio Package.
The 2013 Nissan 370Z Coupe and 370Z Roadster are powered by a 332-horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine and choice of 6-speed manual transmission with an or a 7-speed automatic transmission. The NISMO 370Z is powered by a 350-hp 3.7L V6 that is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Nissan has already reportedly begun work on the next-generation Z according to Nissan design boss Shiro Nakamura, who recently spoke with Autocar. Nakamura stated that the replacement for the 370Z will be lighter and leaner in order to appeal to a larger range of buyers.
Sales of the 370Z are down and according to Nakamura, the 370Z has not been as successful as the 350Z, so "The next one has to have a stronger impact."
That won't be achieved by making it bigger. It cannot be any larger," Nakamura stated. "It's at its maximum size now and should go leaner."
That means that the next Z will also feature a downsized engine, which could be a four-cylinder turbocharged engine, that would replace the current 3.7L V6. Nakamura stated that we will see a concept version of the next Z before the production model debuts, but there is no word when that will happen.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

Hmm, smaller, lighter, four cyl front engine rear-wheel drive. Good thing the Toyobaru got there first.
Do they think they are going to get more sales by shifting to a market segment that already has the Miata and BRZ/86? I mean right now they are pretty well distanced from the offerings of Porsche and BMW for that car size by price, right?

I think their problems are: the design is a bit old, the price is a bit high and the competition has improved (Hyundai Genesis, Mustang GT, Camaro SS). I honestly don't think people who are thinking BMW / Audi / Merc / Porsche are cross shopping the 370Z. Infinity G37 maybe.

If the 4cyl comes with a turbo option it would have the Miata and Sciobaru on the one metric people talk the most about wanting to improve on those very cars.
All Nissan did was take the old 300 and 300 2+2 and break it into to distinct models. I wouldn't think those two would be cross-shopped much at all to be honest. The 370Z is a 2-up sportscar, like a Z4 Coupe. To be honest, the only other vehicle in that class that comes to mind is the Audi TT
I like the look of original 370Z compared to this refresh.
2013 BMW 328i M Sport with 8sp in Estoril Blue II
2012 Chrysler 300C SRT8 - Always bet on black
2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Edition, otherwise known as the MW3 (and badass)
The 370Z is an improvement over the 350Z in every way. It's just not the top dog in that class any longer.
The Hyundai Genesis 3.8 matches it's performance while undercutting it in price by $5k, the 2.0T by nearly $10k.
The Mustang GT and Camaro SS flat-out rip it apart, and both are less expansive. The V6 versions offer a $10k+ savings.
Those really are it's main competitors. As they have improved and gained market share, the 370Z's sales have slowed.
If Nissan could offer a smaller, lighter and less expensive version (call it the 200SX perhaps) they may pick-up some sales. Will those sales justify the costs? That's the gamble.

It looks like a powerful car. I am searching reviews about the car and will collect some pics too.
