In 2005, this is where it all started for us. The PBX usually has a fairly large turnout (not uncommon to see 50+ entries) as pretty much every rally enthusiast in New England takes their dd for a go. This rally is a "non car-breaker", but has wide-enough gravel roads to have some fun. Nothing special required to run this rally, the first go-around we took our evo there on the bilsteins with advans. Great starter event for rallying!
This fall, one of the most exciting TSD events on the east coast will have its 14th annual running... The Pine Barrens Express is a completely unique event, a challenging Time-Speed-Distance Road Rally that pits its competitors against the twisting, rugged, endlessly-varied terrain of New Jersey’s pinelands.
PBX 2011 features over 150 miles, mostly on unpaved roads. The event will be run both in daylight and after dark. Registration will be capped at 70 cars, so entrants are encouraged to pre-register early. Trophies will be presented in
Equipped, Limited, Stock and Novice Classes. The first 40 prepaid entrants will receive Dash Plaques for both driver
and navigator. Cars entered should have an above average amount of ground clearance.
