for my money, that car has to outperform all those at that price range. or, Hyundai can build a car that matches them for $20k less. Don't ask me to spend the same as a Corvette, GT-R or a 911 and only match the performance. There's got to be a reason to turn buyers AWAY from these storied marques with proven pedigrees.
That said, I drove a Genesis V6 sedan a few weeks ago and was thoroughly impressed. I'd like to see them but the Tau 4.6L in the Genesis Coupe before moving upmarket. They pitched the V6 version as a competitor to the V6 Mustang. Well, Ford has upped their game and Hyundai has a suitable motor to compete.

Very good looking car, I can't help but draw parallels to Aston Martin. I have to agree with the other comments here: They REALLY need to step up their game and offer the same level of performance for much cheaper if they want to capture any audience.
