Apple and KDE...Getting comfy?

Post by complacent »

This is prolly a healthy wtlw, but I must admit I am rather excited to see a major company sharing/playing well with the foss community.

We all already knew that Safari was using KHTML and whatnot, but it's cool to see the two teams sharing info.

Things are REALLY going to get interesting once teh Mac moves over to ix86 arch.

It's crazy/cool enough that pkgsrc can already be used (natively) w/ os X. w00t!

Every year I contemplate buying a Mac, and the urge is just getting stronger and stronger. I REALLY wish they would brand a non-proprietary version of OSX, but I also understand that having third parties come in with drivers for everything that is available to PC's would be a nightmare :/

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

as much as i have resisted apple and osx, i'm finding the combo to be a refreshing change after a long, hard (i said long and hard... uuuhuuhuh) day working with winblows. if you can stand the severe lack of support for it, or you're not a g4m3r, it's all good.
