best deal on a netbook?

Post by PGT »

my 3yo daughter has taken to playing on my Alienware M17x. Time to get her a netbook. What's the best/cheapest thing out there? Pastel colors a plus (at least a skin) though I'm not above rattle-canning it. :D

confession: i've never owned or even priced out a netbook before.

i have no idea what to recommend. i think dell made some of their mini series in pink.

i'm fairly positive that asus' eeeeeeeeeepc line was available in pink and other girl-y colors.

I bought a decently spec'd Acer netbook yesterday at Costco for $300. Seems like most places are shooting for either the $250,$300, or $350 price points.

Find a used Toughbook... you know she's going to drag it around. You can spray paint it if you want non-gray :rolllaugh:

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
