WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT.

That would be my perception of all of the horrid "smug" and "cool-hippie" crap that unfortunately many mac owners are chock full of.

It's like a daiper full of rotten indian food and a turd covered in burnt hair.

(yes i realize how much i just bastardized that quote. deal)

Review by Engadget. The last sentence in the review is spot on.

Amen. I'm still waiting on the Penryn based MBP to come out to grab one.

I'd still like to see a 13" MBP. I really love the back-lit keyboard.

Yeah, I think after having a MBP and an Inspiron both with glossy screens my next laptop is going to be matte. The picture is nice and clear but reflection and the glare are starting to piss me off.

The matte screen is probably my favorite feature of my HP laptop. I have an NC8430 with upgraded everything and the screen is second only to the Mac in term of how pretty it is. But it has absolutely NO glare to it. the resolution just isn't 10,000,000x10,000,000 like the macs. At least not in winders mode. In linux it will crank way up.

and so comes the ThinkPad X300... While it may not run OSX (officially), however
unlike the Apple, Lenovo’s new skinny ThinkPad comes with a hefty complement of ports and features, some of the very things critics complained Apple left out. It has a built-in DVD drive, removable battery, three USB ports, and a wired Ethernet networking jack. Inside, in addition to Wi-Fi, it can be ordered with a built-in cellphone modem and even GPS. It comes with either Windows Vista or Windows XP.

Grr... can't get it with anything besides a SDD. But still, given the choice between the two, if I needed a road warrior type laptop this would be my choice. Although it's not as pretty as the Air, it also doesn't require me to carry near as many dongles.

Apple, the ball's in your court.

Sorry Mac people, I couldn't help it. Apparently neither could Lenovo.
