Need help with exotic car ID

Post by zaxrex »

I saw a sports exotic and could not ID it.
If you have an idea based on the following description, give it up.

Low slung front end. Not short, so I thought front engined.
Angular lines in the front, flush headlamps. Sort of like an LP670 or 560, no Ferrari.
Unlike the Lambos, this had a smoother flowing graceful cabin arch flowing into rear haunches of the wheel wells with mid-sized air ducts of some sort.
The thing that really threw me were the tri-tipped mid mounted exhausts in a circular standout with two pipes over one. Like an LFA, but mounted higher up, in the middle of the bumper.
There was a fair sized wing, but nothing gaudy. And small winglets on the front corners. Could have been aftermarket aero bits.
It went by so fast that I couldn't tell if it were front or mid mounted engine. If it were mid mounted, it had a awfully long nose.
Ideas?

lights are not flush, quad vs triple pipe, short nosed vs long nosed - i don't think it will be the one zax is looking for.

however, i have seen a car with a high-mounted center tripple exhaust (not lfa related).
(if it ends up being made in florida... it will be dumb luck... because that's what i want to say.)

The FLA car I was thinking of was the Mosler 900.
(That's not the high-mount tri-exhaust car I was remembering - still can't find it.)

Moslers and Paganis both have pretty stubby short front ends.

My first thought was an Ascari A10 but the exhaust is all wrong. Other thoughts were Factory Five GTM, Maserati MC12, or Saleen S5S.. but again. Wrong exhaust. Pagani is pretty unique with it's high mounted exhaust. But if they're in the bumper like you said I'm out of ideas. I'll keep looking

Thanks guys.
When it first passed along, I thought Pagani as well.
I gotta quit searching, this is becoming a big time suck.
Maybe it will come to me in my dreams...
