The Alexandria Porsche dealer has a dark blue RS GT3 sitting out front.

This car is now haunting my work commute on a daily basis.

Why won't you buy me, spank my shifter and slam my throttle?

saw a Bentley Arnage and a Maybach on I95 S today, just south of Springfield.

Chrysler TC by Maserati on the way to work today. Absolutely weird, looks like a late 80's vintage Chrysler, but full Maserati badging, emblem, hub caps, etc.

spotted a dark green Maserati Quattroporte on 8th street on Thursday.

thought it was a rare sight till I saw a white one on Friday night.

Up here in the NYC. Got off the train at Penn station about 9:45, picked a taxi uptown.
Heard a wonderful noise behind us. Turned and looked and saw a silver on black R8 weaseling through the stop and go traffic.
I thought "what a moron, he is going to run over a ped or wrap himself around a pole". He gets stuck behind a bus and on the other side are a whole bunch of cars wanting to turn left.

Then I heard another noise, this one much deeper and throaty. Now I see what was going on.
The R8 was playing with this taxi-yellow colored sports exotic.
At first I thought it was a Lambo as it came up from behind, all angles, muscle and low wing. Then as it passed on the side, it didn't look quite right, it had a touch of elegance. When it was out in front, I could see a trio of mid high mounted exhaust tips in a two over one configuration. Then I thought it was an LFA, but the tips were too high and the front was all edgy.
Any ideas of the make/model?

I'll post up another topic to help identify the car. Not sure if this thread gets the most traffic.

not really 'rare', but this was an interesting C6 I saw up at the Chik-Fil-A in Sterling a week ago Friday. Short of flat battleship grey paint with a gloss clear on it.



Also, a friend following me on the Greenway and then passing me in his GT3 RS with straight pipes (holy mother of god!).

still one of my favorite cars. I'd own one if it was made to fit those taller than 5'10" - I've driven several examples and they're marvelous cars, objective performance data aside.

Saw a red GTR on Pennsylvania ave around 10 tonight, also saw a grey Ferrari f430 spider on Saturday around the Georgetown area. Another one I saw was a brand new camaro that was painted flat black, looked really nice.
