WickedLaser Unveils "Lightsaber"

Post by HappyIdiot »

And here's the best (or worst) part -- it can set people (or things) on fire. Apparently the laser is so high powered that shining it on fleshy parts will cause them to burst into flames.

I foresee a lot of injuries from this... But I'd still love to own one. I'm actually in the process of making my own :)

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

Wow! I'd buy one right now if I could actually think of a legitimate use.

I find this thing very scary.

Silent while in use, concealable while in use, long ranged, and the injuries it causes (retinal blindness) can not be healed.

Pair it with a culture used to 'pointing laser pointers at people', and I can totally see people crippled for life over careless play.

I don't care if it's regulated, because people can get their hands on whatever they want, so long as they can pay for it.

When their previous version was $2000, I was less worried about a kid getting one.
