(VA)Possibly for sale.....2008 STI 19k miles

Post by PGT »

Definitely a feeler/possibility. I'm looking at something else and trying to decide whether or not to up my budget by selling my STI. Several people have suggested I keep it as I'll regret selling it...they're probably right but knowing if there's any interest out there it would make it easier to sell.

First off...this is my daily driver. No track time, no auto-x.....just back/forth to work and that includes a few spots where I <gasp> actually get to ring it out a bit (rare for NOVA traffic). The car is comfortable and very capable.

All work has been done by IAG, Mach V or me (stereo and suspension). Car was tuned by Jorge at P&L in Sept and made 303/313....very conservative tune.

What's on the car:
Fujitsubo headers
Fujitsubo exhaust (powdercoated black)
Cobb catted DP
Cobb AccessPort
Samco inlet
Grimspeed boost solenoid
AEM intake

two sets of wheels:
18x8.5 Prodive GC010E's in British Gold with 245/40/18 F1 All-season
19x8.5 Prodrive GC014's in British Black with 245/35/19 Nitto NT05's
Less than 2k miles on 19's. About 3k miles on winter set

Ohlins DFV coilovers w/ custom RRT upper perches and 7kF/8kR Eibach springs (Ohlins/Eibach springs at 9kF/7kR included as well....new)
Cobb swaybars F&R (powdercoated red to match)
Whiteline sway reinforcing brackets
Tanabe h-bar (lower) and strut brace)
GTSpec lower engine bash guard
Prova Alcantara steering wheel
Redline Goods shift/e-brake boots
JDM center console box
Sport Grille
dual Stebel Nautilus horns
Grillecraft lower grille
Mach V Stainless brake lines
Kenwood KNX9140 NAV
JDM double-din bezel
JDM S205 rear underspoiler
R205 side emblems (black)
spare black scoop (and stock red)
spare black side vents (and stock red)
misc bolt-ons under the hood (JDM battery cover, alternator cover, etc)
JDM Subaru LED dome light (PIAA) and PIAA LED map lights
Cobb short shift kit
Kartboy and TiC bushings throughout...lots of them
OEM crossbars and two bike mounts
front lip spoiler

$32K as the car sits with both sets of wheels and all stock parts (I have everything but the original five spoke wheel/tire set). Lower depending on how far back to stock. I'd prefer to leave the power mods alone....hardest to roll back.

I also have a brand new Audio Integrations sub box and also custom door panels with DLS Iridium 3 ways (not yet installed) and would be available separately, if so desired.

Probably best. Sweet ride, though! Are you trying to get an '11 STi sedan? That is what most people are shooting for.

part of me agrees. but, to get what I want, it makes sense to sell it.

the Audi dealer will give me 120% of KBB on trade ($28K+$5600). That's more than I'm asking for it as it sits with all the parts <scratches chin>

I hear ya. S5 is pretty sweet, although they could have given it a little more oomph in the engine. There is a Maserati that this uptight lady drives and don't know who drives the ZR1 that parks next to her everyday.
