Mobile data traffic surpasses mobile voice traffic

Post by complacent »

Wow, I knew this was coming, but I didn't think it would happen this quickly.

One figure that really surprised me:
Worryingly, that data traffic was generated by an estimated 400 million smartphones set against 4.6 billion mobile subscribers making voice calls.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

remember that with push apps you're consuming bandwidth with that smart phone in your pocket.
I've had my current phone just over a year, I have 450 minutes per month, I have nearly 2000 roll-over minutes.

Yeah, doesn't surprise me.
12 days remaining in the billing cycle, I've used 59.4Meg of data and 341 minutes while Shawn has used 3.6718Meg of data and 64 minutes. I've got push data and definitely utilize my unlimited data connection during my commute.

60 megs? By that point I'm well into the hundreds. I have 18 megs and I'm 3 days in. January I used just shy of 900 Megs.
All my cars have drum brakes and are sub 200 hp, what am I doing with my life?
