teh Google drops gears, pushes for HTML 5

Post by complacent »

THIS is a good, good thing.

Hopefully with a company the size of teh google can help to influence a wider adoption of 5. I'll admit, the prospects of one set of standards for rich media delivery is way cool.

Standards are great, everyone should have one.

Everyone having the same one is even better. :)

I wish other big companies would follow Google's lead: If you're doing something, but something else is better and standardized, call it quits and go with the standard!
