That's awesome! What's the name of the shop in Alexandria? There are a few of us who live there.

Bilbo Automotive on Eisenhower. Just a small family run shop, not much to look at, but they've built import dragcars, open wheel racecars rallycars, driftcars and now a drifttruck and frame off resto-rods. The meat and potatoes is still just ordinary auto repair but do the motorsport when its available.

I'm there Saturdays when I'm not away racing. Most of the cool stuff like the rallycar and driftcars are stored elsewhere so there is more room to work in shop.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

and here I was thinking you were going to say Martin's Motorsports... Thank God.
I used to drive Eisenhower every day. Seen lots of auto places come and go, but never saw that shop. How long have they been there?

Maybe 3 years. They are the last shop in the building across the the new vacant old Army office building where the flashing pedestrian light is.
They had a much larger shop on the Maryland side for years but got tired of commute over WW bridge and some of the clientele on the MD side.

Sorry, I was traveling and then racing. Did you buy whatever it was? Come by Saturday if you're in town.
