WTF!!! I cannot get Firefox to work

Since about 1yr ago when I got my new comp firefox never worked and/or any sites like lime wire. I have tried muliple fixes and to no avail....anyone have this prob.

Now I cannot even install Java!

I had problems with a Firefox install a couple years ago. The browser would crash on start, but would run in safe mode... took me awhile to track it down. It was actually the firewall, a bug effected the FFX install.

Had the same problem with Chrome when it came out - that time it was a problem with the virus scanner on my corporate machine. Same deal, bug in the software effected the install.

Recommend uninstalling FFX, wiping the directories, updating all of your security software, and try again.
