FS:1998 Jeep Cherokee automatic 4x4 SOLD

Post by gsx-lex »

ITEM: 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 automatic
PRICE: $3000
DESCRIPTION: Running/ No body damage (no dents), is very reliable.

Gentlemen, as fun as she is to drive, I miss having a car. She is a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4.0l automatic with around 176k miles. The engine/drivetrain are extremely reliable and have never let me down. 4wd works great (as proven by this last snowfall:) )! I drive this jeep everyday 40 miles to and from work. Very reliable, Never modified, just driven to and from work.

Good:
-New Waterpump
-New radiator and hoses
-New brake caliper
-No Rust
-4 New Goodyear Wrangler Tires
- New Windshield
- Replaced NSS

Bad:
-Airbag light turns on when it's cold outside
-Window switches work intermittently on passenger side.
-CEL (P0138- caused by exhaust leak.)
-Hood latch (in cabin) broke. This means that you have to use a vise grip to pull on the cable and pop the hood (vise grips included with the sale of the jeep ).

$3,000

Thanks Colin, I'm dying to get something RWD (and closer to the ground).

Got it washed today, and she is looking fresh!

You might want to look into cash for clunkers if you are looking for a new car.

You're missing the point of the program. :) Its to replace perfectly good cars with perfectly new cars with car payments.

Alright gentlemen, she's back up for sale, with new parts (tires, windshield and NSS). I've updated the original post to reflect the current condition of the Jeep.

I'm interested, but it'll be a bit before I can get up there to take a look. I'll drop you a note mid-next-week and see if you still have it and see if we can work out a date.

I found my next car, but this one has to go before hand.

The new price is $2500 for a quick sale. If this doesn't' go by the end of the week, it's getting traded in.

This is also posted on Cherokeeforum, NAXJA, and MDcreepers.
