There's no confirmation yet on which powertrain the Cygnet will use, but it will probably be the 1.3-liter, 97-bhp unit with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. No other mechanical changes, apart from larger 16-in. wheels, will be made to bring the car more into line with Aston's DNA.

On the EU drive cycle the iQ achieves 58.8 mpg (48.9 mpg U.S.) which would help improve Aston's corporate average fuel figures.

Would be nice if they brought it the US for nothing more than a good commuter car.

I was just imagining 007 rolling in the mini Aston with it all done up w/ missles, guns, oil slick, etc...probably need to be in little streets of Italy or something similar to make it worthwhile...

I guess it would have to be silver to go along w/ the 007 car theme
