Not quite seeing the 4-2-1 design though. I like their description "Increase turbo spool time..." Truth in advertising I guess.
Cheap enough though.

Re: Surewinproducts Header
Mr. Kleen can chime in on these, he has a set.
I've installed two sets now. Some observations:
1. The welds and quality of assembly is very good. (as good as any header I've seen and I've seen plenty).
2. They require a bit of work to make them fit properly. You can't tighten the clamps before you install them and must bank them in place with a rubber hammer to get them on.
3. It's a 2 person job: One to align the passenger side and just barely put onto the studs. The other to bend and bang the driver side into place.

Re: Surewinproducts Header
so far mine work just fine. if you're doing the UP you might as well do headers at the same time.

Agreed! I would also get an up-pipe with a similar diameter. The stock or STi is significantly smaller.Mr Kleen wrote:if you're doing the UP you might as well do headers at the same time.

I'd pass on the OEM myself but, as always, YMMV.

I've had numerous problems with removing O2 sensors and Subies... Both at the collector in the exhaust manifold and right after the cat further down the exhaustgoob_os101 wrote:could not get the o2 senor off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were using a o2 socket too. Oh well, no headers for me
But I think I'm cursed in that regard.
