I do have to agree with the first commenter though. May very well be X4's with a bad core, then sold as an X3.

When AMD first announced the X3's, several tech news sites speculated that they were X4's with one faulty core - simply a way for AMD to make money on chips that would've otherwise been a financial liability. Stands to reason that the fourth core could potentially be accessed ... but would you want to if it truly is faulty?
