sandy tells me there is a google application that makes you complete some basic aptitude tests before sending email, thus preventing those late-night embarrassing emails. I gather this works in the browser. Has anyone done anything similar for Mail.app (or, I suppose, outlook).

Re: gmail goggles
i think somebody posted something about it a while back but can't remember what thread. it makes you answer a simple math question or two before you can send an email.

The browser-based app was posted here but I think Alex is asking about a version for mobile use? Am I reading you right?

i am looking for a plugin for mail.app on my mac that asks me aptitude questions if it takes me longer to type an email than x seconds per word. or something like that. and this has nothing to do with alcohol, actually.WRXWagon2112 wrote:The browser-based app was posted here but I think Alex is asking about a version for mobile use? Does it teach you to search before posting?

Ah! Yeah, I think Darth Jobs calls it "Airplane Mode". I think only google would make an application like that. Other than that, if sending drunken emails is that big of a problem, I would suggest maybe not drinking so much or locking you phone in a safe that requires you to do math before opening it.

I don't think Alex is talking about ye olde jesus phone.
I think he's talking about Mail.app - the Mac OS X application.
