Had I known at the time about the giddyup of a Suby with a 4.44 final drive, I might have opted for the Outback with that option, and otherwise same comfort level as the Legacy.
edit: and of course I mean the XT and GT when I refer to them cars.

Sorry, what I meant to say is I would have chosen the Outback XT over the Legacy GT in that the Outback, along with the Forester, comes with an optional 4.44 final drive ratio, whereas the Legacy comes with the more typical 4.11.
Just one more reason to love the Outback XT, marvelous little sleeper wagon of sex and doom.
hmmm i think my list of cars is changing ( especially since i have dogs) sti hatch, outback xt, another 04-08 fxt and maybe audi a4 awd sline
i still like an s200 but the wife isnt to hot about that. Back on topic lolol my freind just placed his bmw order but instead of the 335xi he ended up getting a bmw x5 used that is coming from jersy ( his wife convinced him to get a larger car too since he has kids now lolol
I don't really feel like I've lost anything per se without having the 6 speed. More so after actually owning an STi beforehand.
I'll keep the weight savings, the 4.44 final drive and the beautiful torque multiplication.
I want the JDM FSTi 6 speed. 4.44 final drive w/ a nice tall 6th gear for highway cruising as well as being super beefy to handle the power better. The stock USDM 4.44 5spd is nice until you get on the highway.
