Hey Julian, You dont have to bring your "supplies" because my buddy is getting a compression test tomorrow, he started his car earlier today and let it idle before driving it and there was a lot of white smoke for a continuous ten minutes before it finally calmed down but still idle badly... Any ideas?

So how can we check on what is wrong, like the coolant is leaking? or what is happening to cause that? Is this problem fixable or how can we correct it?

White smoke usually means there is coolant entering the cylinder, which means your head gasket is gone or you have a crack in the block. The compression/leak down test should tell you a good bit. I'm sorry to say, things do not sound good...

Why not do like a chipotle or fudruckers (or similar) meet where the food (service) is faster. My gripe about DnB is that it takes 1 hour for food and splitting the bill at the end is always troublesome. Now I wasn't there yesterday, but I'm assuming these were the problems Julian is referring to (I could be wrong). Have we ever though about maybe doing a fuds meet in Rockville?

How about doing it further north on 95? I'd go anywhere in MD personally, but it'd be nice to try to get some Northern people to come out.

Sadly, Jen and Bernardo had a bad experience at DnB's with the food before we arrived for the meet. Hmm, it may be time for a Hooters meet...

as much as it pains me, I have to say I don't much care for Hooters RESTAURANTS. the food is mediocre; the prices are high; and the hostesses aren't very personable if you don't look like you'll tip 40%.
